Fight Club has always been one of my favorite movies. I think it’s honestly a film that every man needs to see at some point in their lives, if only to jar us out of our relatively mundane and often pathetic lifestyles.
Around the same time as we filmed the Dark Knight Reconstruction, I had to direct my own scene for the same class, and so I called up some of my friends to help me out. While we probably should have choreographed the actual fighting a little better, I was really more concerned with the dialogue delivery, the lighting, and the sound quality.
Tyler Farr and Chris Clark, playing “Jack” and “Tyler Durden” respectively, did an excellent job, as always. Man, that was a really cold night, and every time I watch this, I cringe a little.
After all, that’s my car they’re crashing into.
